Having marketed three of his own books, as well as others by indie and traditionally published authors, Matthew has firsthand experience with the many approaches, platforms, tools, and services available for marketing for writers.
Matthew’s first book, With Open Arms, was an Amazon #1 Hot New Release. It went on to top the Amazon Africa category, as well as the Morocco one numerous times. Matthew’s other two books, A Voice Beyond Reason and his latest, Foreword INDIES Book of the Year-nominated and Readers’ Favorite Gold for Humor winner Porcelain Travels, have had similar success, both as #1 Amazon new releases and #1 bestsellers in several of their respective categories.
Matthew has spoken about book marketing to numerous groups, including Napa Writers, the Mechanics Institute, Lit Camp’s Publishing Conference, and more.

From developing a platform to exploring specific options for marketing a new book, Matthew tailors each engagement to the specific needs of a client, their book, and their budget.
